Jimmy Carter

Hi dear readers! Today is time to talk about Nobel Prize Winners, as our teacher of ICT's tell. We have done a work in pairs finding information about Nobel Prize Winners in the last twelve years. Click here to see our work.

Here I'm going to write about Jimmy Carter Jr, because I have never heard about peace prizes, and after read all the winners from the last twelve years, he was the one I like it. He won the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for what presenters cited as decades of work seeking peaceful solutions and promoting social and economic justice.
Carter, Democratic president from 1977 to 1981, has won praise for his tireless work as an ex-president in trying to bring peace to places from Haiti to North Korea.
Announcing the winner on Friday, the five-member Norwegian Nobel Committee praised Carter's decades of "untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social development."
