Differences of two cultures

Hello readers! Today I am going to explain the differences of two cultures. I will compare religious differences, food, language, shocking traditions, etc. And after that I will put my personal view, I hope you would like it.

In the world there are a lot of type of different cultures, more than 1500, but what is the meaning of culture? Culture is the way of life, especially the general customs and beliefs, of a particular group of people at a particular time, according to "Cambridge Dictionary". I have chosen Japanese and American cultures to compare and to show you the differences that they have.

To start with, I can say that in Japan the spoken language is Japanese. It is an agglutinative language, member of the Japonic language family and the sound inventory of Japanese, is relatively small, but has a lexically distinct pitch-accent system.Although the United States, has no official language at the federal level, the English is their the official language and it is considered to be the national language.English is a West Germanic language that was first spoken in England.

On the one hand, the U.S.A is one of the most religious places. It is the only develop nation in the survey where a majority of citizens report that religion, play a very important role in their lives. The majority of them are Christian (80.2 %), and Protestant (51.3 %). On the other hand, the religion of Japan isn't a defined concept, because they don't think in a particular religion. They feel that religion is part of their culture.  The Buddhism is a majority religion, following by Shintoism.

In recent years, Japanese food has become fashionable and popular in the United States, Europe, and many other areas. Dishes such as sushi, tempura and teriyaki are some of the foods that we known. Still, in U.S.A, wheat is the primary cereal grain. Traditional American cuisine uses ingredients such as turkey, white-tailed deer venison, potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, squash and maple syrup. Hamburgers and fries, as well as doughnuts are considered American foods. I think that most of American people don't eat as well as us, because normally they eat in McDonald's and in similar ones.

Finally, I am going to say some curiosities about Japanese. Did you know that in Japan the number 4 is the number of bad luck, because it has the same pronunciation as death? Because of that, they don't rent rooms with that number and etc. If you want to know more curiosities click here
